CMTS (Private Networks)

ATX miniCMTS200a

An alternative to larger, more expensive cable modem termination systems (CMTS) and second-hand units with low bandwidth, ATX’s miniCMTS is designed to provide smaller cable operators with the capabilities they need at an exceptional value. The low-cost unit supports up to 400 cable modems depending on the usage model and cable modem type (maximum of 250 DOCSIS 3.0 + 150 DOCSIS 2.0 or 400 DOCSIS 2.0). We recommend a maximum of 400 modems for hospitality applications and a maximum of approximately 200 modems for residential applications or anywhere that a higher usage model applies.

The miniCMTS offers 16 downstream bonded channels for up to 800-Mbps downstream /120-Mbps upstream data delivery. In a residential setting with 200 modems, this data rate provides for a 4-Mbps uncontended internet connection per subscriber.

Casa Systems C1G

The Casa Systems C1G Cable Modem Termination System (CMTS) is a new class of cable edge device that implements all of the DOCSIS 3.0 features enabling service providers to cost effectively offer highly scalable broadband services such as IPTV, video-over-IP, interactive gaming, as well as traditional broadband access and VoIP services. Due to its extremely compact size (15 in x 8.75 in x 1RU), the C1G can be easily deployed in locations such as Multi-Dwelling Units (MDU), hotels and motels (hospitality), and small hubs.

C1G Features:

DOCSIS 3.0 Compliant: Multi-channel DRFI RF for Annex A,B & C, downstream channel bonding up to 8 channels, upstream channel bonding up to 8 channels, AES encryption/decryption, mutlicast QoS, bonded channel multicast, full DOCSIS 3.0 MIBs and IPDR
Extremely Compact: 38.1 cm x 22.2 cm x 1RU (15 in x 8.75 in x 1.75 in)
Cost Effectiveness: Industries lowest cost per DOCSIS 3.0 channel for this class of product, delivering an economical solution for high bandwidth multimedia applications

Blonder Tongue BT-CMTS-3000

The Blonder Tongue model BT-CMTS-3000 (Cable Modem Termination System) is targeted for small to medium size deployments to provide two-way data services on a coaxial network. It is designed to support up to 200 DOCSIS 3.0 or 500 DOCSIS 2.0 cable modems. contains four (4) independent transcoders in a single module. Each of these transcoders accepts one (1) input in QPSK or 8PSK format, and the module delivers four outputs in QAM format in the 54-864 MHz range.

porticoVecima Networks Portico
