Director of Sales Operations

Job Summary:

Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer. This role will have responsibility for leading the field Revenue Operations function for AMT. This role is a high-impact and visible leadership position that plays an integral role in the success of the overall field teams and company.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ability to work both strategically and tactically assisting field sales teams in establishing appropriate programs, initiatives, tools and systems, enabling them to meet their short and long-term goals 
  • Enable scalability and continuous improvement of the revenue operations function through appropriate automation and process efficiencies and optimization 
  • Ensure implementation of sales initiatives and strategy in the field through partnership and collaboration e.g., sales forecasting, territory and quota allocation, revenue attainment reporting 
  • Drive consistency and transparency across the sales population through consistent analytics, forecasting and reporting requirements 
  • Collaborator and problem solver together with the sales team in Sales Strategy, Planning and Rewards, Pipeline Forecasting, Sales Transformation, and Sales Enablement Lead, manage and mentor customer service team driving a culture of high performance and accountability
  • A trusted partner to sales leaders through achieving strategic alignment throughout sales teams 

Experience and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 5 + years of experience
  • Prior experience of working in leadership roles in Sales/Revenue Operations 
  • Demonstrated understanding of customer and partner experience, sales cycles, and end-to-end business processes
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills 
  • Ability to work strategically and collaboratively across departments with a strong bias for action 
  • Strong analytical skills and adept at using key data, CRM and reporting tools

Sales Representative  – Domestic

Job Summary:

The Sales Representative is responsible for demonstrating technical product knowledge of CATV, IPTV, and Broadband products in order to anticipate the needs of AMT’s current and prospective customer base, generate sales, and close deals. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

1. Presents and sells CATV, IPTV, and Broadband products to current and potential customers

  • Analyzes information regarding the customers’ current deployment technology, head-end architecture, project goals, and/or budget, etc. to determine and recommend the appropriate products; conducts research on behalf of the customer as necessary.
  • Educates customers on the differences/similarities, advantages/disadvantages of various products and advises which items best meet the customers’ needs.
  • Negotiates AMT product pricing with potential buyers based on competitor pricing, company profit margins, customer budget, and other relevant factors; closes deals.
  • Identifies and contacts sales prospects and other accounts as assigned; follows up on new leads and referrals.
  • Quotes prices, prepare proposals and provides information regarding terms of sales and delivery dates.

2. Product Knowledge 

  • Remains knowledgeable on products, current industry trends, and customer preferences by attending sales meetings, vendor training, trade shows, and/or reading trade journals. Trains sales team and management on the same as necessary.
  • Researches and recommends new products to integrate into the current product line.
  • Maintains an understanding of competitor product lines in order to distinguish AMT products from that of its competitors.

3. Marketing

  • Represents AMT in marketing events such as trade shows and seminars to promote AMT products.
  • Assists Marketing with developing sales, promotional, and trade show materials.

4. Establishes and maintains current client and potential client relationships

  • Identifies and resolves client concerns.
  • Manages account services through quality checks and other follow-ups.
  • Other related duties as assigned.

Requirements: 

  • Strong interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills; ability to deliver superior customer service.
  • Ability to persuade and influence others.
  • Effective listening, negotiation, and exceptional phone skills.
  • Problem-solving and analytical ability.
  • Ability to multi-task, effectively manage time and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
  • Self-motivated and independent worker.
  • Technical expertise and knowledge of Broadband and IPTV products.
  • Demonstrated understanding and application of effective selling strategies and techniques.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft applications is expected; experience in Navision is preferred, but not required.
  • Travel throughout the United States or South America, up to 50% is required.

Education/Experience/Training:

Bachelor’s Degree preferred and 2 years of related experience; or, any combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job as listed above.
