Sales Coordinator

The Sales Coordinator is responsible for supporting the inside sales team and other internal company departments with the day to day execution of AMT’s sales and for providing outstanding customer service.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  1. Processes orders from the Sales department
    • Processes change orders, cancellations, allocations, and drop shipments.
    • Ensures product availability; communicated order status and delivery to customers and Sales department as required. Regularly reviews and addresses customer backlog.
    • Verifies customer is in good standing before shipping.
    • Regularly ensures approval of all orders so that they are shipped in a timely manner.
    • Ensures sales orders and customer purchase orders are properly archived for auditing purposes.
  2. Customer Service
    • Responds to customer questions regarding orders; analyzes individual solutions and takes appropriate action to ensure customer needs are met.
    • Provides proof of delivery, invoices, serial numbers, and coordinates pick-ups.
      Serves as backup to sales team as needed.
    • Performs other related duties as assigned.


  • Written and verbal communication skills to convey information clearly and concisely.
  • Strong customer service skills and professional telephone manner.
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees and vendors.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Ability to use time efficiently and to prioritize and plan work activities; shift priorities as needed.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications is expected; familiarity with additional software programs is valued.


High School diploma or equivalent and at least 2 years of related experience; or, any combination of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential duties of the job as listed above.  Experience in distribution highly preferred but not required.

Ability to read, write, and speak Spanish fluently is preferred, but not required.

Sales Rep Positions Available

We are looking for self-motivated domestic Sales Representatives to promote and sell AMT’s complete portfolio of Broadband and CATV electronic equipment.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in meeting or exceeding sales and service goals for their assigned markets along with a solid knowledge of a variety of broadband and cable TV products and the experience in selling these types of product lines. The key responsibilities of this individual will be to progressively manage and maintain contact with established customers and source new business through prospecting new customers and generating business through sales leads.
