Inca Networks – Intelligent Video Delivery – Powering the Multiscreen Video Revolution

Inca Networks Blueline Transcoder Series (BLT)

Inca Networks’ Blueline Transcoder Series (BLT), is a high-quality, cost-effective range of IP video transcoders for digital cable and IPTV deployments, featuring MPEG-2 and MPEG-4 AVC linear IP transcoding in 1 power-saving RU. The Blueline Transcoder Series contains dedicated video processors which provide consistent density and performance. The BLT series is comprised of fixed density appliance models to transcode, transrate or downscale HD and SD MPEG-2 or MPEG-4 AVC sources. Available HD models support up to 12, 8 or 4 programs and SD models support up to 24, 16 or 8 programs. The BLT couple’s carrier-class WISI engineering and decades of digital video experience with Inca Networks’ globally deployed transcoding engine, validated against thousands of broadcast streams worldwide. Configuration and troubleshooting is simple, with its easy-to-use, web-based management interface and automated handling and recovery of ‘challenging’ video sources. Whether you’ve outgrown your in-house transcoders, want affordable spares close-at-hand, or need to replace an end-of-life system with a low entry price, the WISI Blueline is a perfect fit.

Inca Networks BLTASI Flex Video Transcoder

Inca Networks’ BLTASI Flex Video Transcoder allows operators to bridge legacy ASI to modern IP networks easily and affordably in 1 power saving RU. Flexible and affordable density options allow operators to transcode, transrate or downscale MPEG-4 and MPEG-2 for HD or SD sources and HD to SD down conversion. Professional-grade features include optional high-density audio transcoding, closed captioning support, and a low energy footprint at less than 120 W per 1 RU chassis. Bridge high bitrate multi-program legacy ASI equipment to IP with options for demultiplexing, program extraction and remapping of groomed output streams, or maximize flexibility with optional video transcoding processors that operators can flex license at any time to adapt resolutions, bitrates, and codecs to their network. With the BLTASI Transcoder, operators can affordably launch new HD and SD programs in cable or IPTV headends, protect revenue streams by using as cost-effective spares for existing transcoders, and maximize their investment after ASI is removed from the network by providing IP to IP support with optional transcode processors.

Inca Networks 3210 Receiver

The Inca Receiver 3210 has two RF tuners that can each receive an off-air channel from an antenna, or a ClearQAM carrier from a cable provider, then demultiplex, processes and output all primary HD and secondary channels as individual IP single program transport streams (SPTS) suitable for use in your IP video network. If you need more than two channels of reception, check out the Inca Receiver 3300.

Inca Networks 3210 SD Encoder & Receiver

The Inca SD Encoder and Receiver 3210 can simultaneously receive two analog CATV channels via the included cable tuners or encode two channels of baseband video from RCA/S-Video inputs while also receiving and processing two 8VSB digital broadcast or ClearQAM carriers. All signals are available as individual IP single program transport streams (SPTS) suitable for use in your IP video network.

Inca Networks 4400 Modular Series

The Inca Modular Series 4400 features flexibility with processing modules and high-capacity network interfaces. With the 4400 series you can optimize the format, resolution and bitrate of large numbers of live satellite, IP and off-air digital sources for delivery to set-top boxes or multiscreen devices. Options include modular platforms with up to three bays that can transcode, transrate or downscale up to 36 HD or 90 SD programs to MPEG-4, in just one rack unit of space, with integrated grooming and monitoring of all streams. Optional front-end input modules include the Inca Receiver 4400, enabling reception and transcoding of off-air sources in a single box, and the Inca ASI 4400, for interfacing with existing headend equipment. The Inca Modular Series 4400 allows you to scale your infrastructure and easily add capacity as your business grows, reducing capital and operating expenses.

Inca Networks All Seeing Eye

The Inca All Seeing Eye 5420 provides sophisticated visual monitoring and an overview mosaic of the IP Video streams in your headend. Inca All Seeing Eye probe functionality is included in every Inca product. The Inca Modular Series 4400 is available for monitoring streams generated by other vendors’ equipment. Powered by Inca’s VidiOS™ architecture, the Inca All Seeing Eye supports HD and SD MPEG-2 and MPEG-4 AVC streams. Team members can interactively oversee the network using any web browser to view mosaics of video thumbnails and easily see how each program is performing.
