Inca Networks’ BLTASI Flex Video Transcoder allows operators to bridge legacy ASI to modern IP networks easily and affordably in 1 power saving RU. Flexible and affordable density options allow operators to transcode, transrate or downscale MPEG-4 and MPEG-2 for HD or SD sources and HD to SD down conversion. Professional-grade features include optional high-density audio transcoding, closed captioning support, and a low energy footprint at less than 120 W per 1 RU chassis. The Inca Receiver 3210 has two RF tuners that can each receive an off-air channel from an antenna, or a ClearQAM carrier from a cable provider, then demultiplex, processes and output all primary HD and secondary channels as individual IP single program transport streams (SPTS) suitable for use in your IP video network. The Inca SD Encoder and Receiver 3210 can simultaneously receive two analog CATV channels via the included cable tuners or encode two channels of baseband video from RCA/S-Video inputs while also receiving and processing two 8VSB digital broadcast or ClearQAM carriers. All signals are available as individual IP single program transport streams (SPTS) suitable for use in your IP video network.
