ARRIS FST1203

The ARRIS FST1203 bridge modem is designed to upgrade the WAN interface of legacy gateways with fiber-like speeds. The modem can be mounted in various orientations and locations by either installation technicians or the customer. The FST1203 converts Gfast signals from either a coaxial cable or phone line to Gigabit Ethernet for the gateway it supports. The bridge modem can draw power from any gateway with USB 3.0 ports to which it is connected or from any USB 3.0 port or the included USB adapter. The modem is managed via the ITU-T G.997.2 embedded operations channel. It requires no input or interaction by the user beyond connecting the cables and understanding the LED indications of the front panel. The modem is protected with enhanced K.21 level lightning protection.
