ARRIS APEX1000

The ARRIS APEX1000, ARRIS’ next-generation all-purpose edge QAM, provides flexibility, high availability, high QAM density, MediaCipher encryption, and low power in an extremely cost-effective 1 RU platform. Up to three removable and hot-swappable QAM modules can be installed in the chassis. Each module provides two RF ports, which support up to eight QAM channels each. Any of the 48 QAM channels available can be used for Video-on-Demand (VOD), Switched Digital Video (SDV), broadcast services, or DOCSIS high-speed data (through support for the M-CMTS architecture).

ARRIS CherryPicker Line DM6400

The ARRIS DM6400, part of ARRIS’ CherryPicker line of digital video Application Platforms, delivers unparalleled quality and reliability for networking, distributing, and processing both standard-definition (SD) and high-definition (HD) services. It offers a wide array of digital video applications, including grooming of custom channel lineups, rate shaping and statistical remultiplexing, localized digital ad insertion, and Graphic overlay and SqueezeBack.


Pico Digital PDASI-IP

The Pico Digital PDASI-IP is an enhanced TS re-multiplexer with two-channel IP and ASI output for digital TV broadcasting headend systems like CONDOR. The multiplexer combines all the functions of a normal TS multiplexer—including program multiplexing, PSI/SI editing, PID re-mapping, service filtering, null packet removal, etc.— with eight ASI inputs, two separate ASI output ports, and one Gigabit IP output with two separate channels. The bit rate of each output stream can be up to 216 Mbps


Pico Digital IPQC24

The Pico Digital IPQC24 is a highly integrated 1-RU video edge QAM that can multiplex and scramble IP video signals and convert them to QAM/DVB-C channels for use in CATV systems, such as the Pico Digital CONDOR. The unit features a flexible design and can be configured in a number of ways to suit specific end applications. The high-quality QAM output of the edge QAM is organized into 24 independent QAM channels, which can be placed anywhere within a 768 MHz span, from 36 MHz to 960 MHz. The IPQC24 supports up to four simultaneous CA systems and 1680 Mbps of IP data input.

The Pico Digital IPQC24-IP adds 24 IP output streams to the IPQC24. The IPQC24 is a highly integrated 1-RU edge QAM that can multiplex and scramble IP video signals and convert them to QAM/DVB-C channels for use in CATV systems, such as the Pico Digital CONDOR. The unit features a flexible design and can be configured in a number of ways to suit specific end applications. The IPQC24-IP is perfect for installations where a single master headend will feed numerous remote head-ends via IP. The high-quality QAM output of the edge QAM is organized into 24 independent QAM channels, which can be placed anywhere within a 768 MHz span, from 36 MHz to 960 MHz. The IPQC24-IP supports up to four simultaneous CA systems and 1680 Mbps of IP data input.


Pico Digital PDMUX

The Pico Digital PDMUX multiplexer is a professional TS processor used in digital TV broadcasting headend systems like CONDOR. It receives up to 512 IP (SPTS/MPTS) channels and multiplexes the input programs into two TS stream outputs. For easy management, the PDMUX can be controlled and upgraded via a Web server in addition to the front panel keyboard. Its high integration and cost effective design have made it widely used in CATV broadcasting systems.

Drake MQM1000

The R. L. Drake model MQM1000 is a professional quality, digital headend transcoder that accepts one or two MPEG2 digital inputs via two Asynchronous Serial Input (ASI) connectors. These signals must be ATSC compatible streams if multiplexing is to be performed and usually will have originated from a local TV broadcast station and may have been transported over fiber links to the MQM1000. After multiplexing and null packet management, theMQM1000 QAM modulates and up converts onto any desired CATV or off-air output channel between 54 and 1002MHz. The MQM1000 can also operate as a non-multiplexing QAM modulator when a single ASI input is selected.
