TeraSpan 1/2″ OD Flexible Transition Tubing
TeraSpan’s Flexible Transition Tubing (FTT) allows cables or micro-ducts to transition into traditional systems and into various entries.
TeraSpan 1/2″ OD FTT for 12mm SPC Transitions
TeraSpan’s Flexible Transition Tubing (FTT) allows cables or micro-ducts to transition into traditional systems and into various entries. The ID of this FTT is matched to the ID of the 12mm SPC.
.
TeraSpan’s VDC 1 (Vertical Deflecting Conduit-will fit 1x6mm cable) is a two-part conduit system that “zips” together to encase cable, blow tube, or pull string.
.
TeraSpan’s VDC4 (Vertical Deflecting Conduit-will fit 4x6mm cables) is a two-part conduit system that “zips” together to encase any combination of cable, blow tube, or pull string.
.
TeraSpan’s VDC5 (Vertical Deflecting Conduit-will fit 5x6mm cables) is a two part micro channel conduit system designed for micro trench deployment. The conduit comprises five indiviual channels, providing capacity for a variety of different cable, pull string or blow tube configurations. The maximum cable/tubing diameter for this conduit is 6mm.

TeraSpan’s VDC5 (Vertical Deflecting Conduit-will fix 5x6mm cables) is a two part micro channel conduit system designed for micro trench deployment. The conduit comprises five indiviual channels, providing capacity for a variety of different cable, pull string or blow tube configurations. The maximum cable/tubing diameter for this conduit is 6mm.
TeraSpan’s VDC7 (Vertical Deflecting Conduit-will fit 7x6mm cables) is a two part micro channel conduit system designed for micro trench deployment. The conduit comprises seven individual channels, providing capacity for a variety of different cable, pull string or blow tube configurations. The maximum cable/tubing diameter for this conduit is 6mm.
TeraSpan Product Tests- Crush, Sharp Objects, and Hand Tool Impact
TeraSpan’s three different tests (Crush, Sharp Object and Hand Tool Impact) are conducted on four different product samples: VDC1, FTT, MCS Road Cable and 3 Tube Bundle. This test plan provides lab results to help provide life cycle data for shallow outside plant environments.
TeraSpan’s Square Profile Conduit (SPC) uses a square profile to achieve the crush and impact strength required to have a truly rugged system for the micro-trench environment. The conduit can be stacked in the micro-trench to achieve the desired count. SPC can be easily joined with a low profile coupling method that will fit into a saw cut. The ability to use one conduit to accomplish all network requirements simplifies inventory and keeps costs down. Cable can be blown, pulled, pushed or rodded, making SPC ideal for pathway creation.
TeraSpan’s SPC17 tool kit provides an efficient way for coupling SPC together (also couples SPC to FTT and FTT to FTT). The kit also includes a string jetting tool for loading pull string into the SPC.
TeraSpan’s SPC FTTH 12 Port Terminal provides a simplified method of building branches from the primary micro-trench toward the home. SPC provides excellent protection against hand tools (3x greater crush resistance than round tubing).
TeraSpan’s Diamond saw blades by are designed to withstand high heat cutting. Ideal for wet cutting in concrete.
TeraSpan’s VDC4 T Connector forms a perpendicular branch with the VDC4 conduit system. The branching conduit connection may be VDC4 or VDC1.
TeraSpan’s #42 pull string is designed to pull cable through VDC or SPC. The string is slightly stiff for easy handing and loading of the zipper tool.
TeraSpan 14AWG CCS Green (Tracer Wire)
TeraSpan’s tracer wire is required to be installed into the bottom of the trench or saw cut of every meter of network. TeraSpan has standardized on a durable direct buried copper coated steel tracer wire with a heavy HMWPE jacket.
TeraSpan Cylindrical Access
Node (CAN)
TeraSpan’s Cylindrical Access Node (CAN) is the cornerstone of the Vertical Inlaid Fiber system. Composed of galvanized steel, the CAN is robust enough for placement in virtually any infrastructure. Designed primarily for roadways, sidewalks, and soft infrastructure such as boulevards, the CAN is built for security and longevity.
